           You may have seen in the news from Friday that Apple has identified two significant security vulnerabilities in its operating systems (iPadOS, iOS and macOS).
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           One of these issues - a flaw in Apple's web browser technology, Webkit - is being actively exploited by attackers.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           This is a very serious issue. It could ultimately allow cybercriminals to take full control of an end user's device, giving a cybercriminal the same level of access as Apple itself. In response, Apple has released an urgent security update.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

           You can now follow these simple steps to pre-programme your Hosted PBX 'Time Profile' to route differently on specified dates:
          &#xD;

    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/h3&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/div&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           However, it is now possible to pre-programme alternative routing on a particular date or dates. This is especially useful when, for example, you want to do something like pre-programme call diverts for out of hours on-call staff over a period such as Christmas, when admin staff will not be available to make changes.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           To do so, please follow these steps:
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           1.  Log into portal and go to ‘Call Routing’ --&amp;gt; ‘Time Profile’.

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           2.  Select the ‘Time Profile’ you wish to adjust.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           3.  Select the ‘Calendars’ tab.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           4.  As shown in the screenshot above, you can then set an alternative destination for a particular date and time range.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           5.  Hit ‘Save’.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Now your system will over-ride any 'Time Profile' programming (including the 'Bank Holiday' feature), for those specific dates and times.
          &#xD;

    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

          What is a Softphone?

          A Softphone is an application that can be installed on your Android or Apple mobile, tablet, or your PC, that enables you to use that device as your office extension. 
         &#xD;

  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;b&gt;&#xD;
      
           When would I use it?
          &#xD;
    &lt;/b&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
           
         &#xD;
  &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
    
          The softphone can be used anywhere where the device it is running on has a good internet connection; either via WiFi or mobile data. So, whether you are in the office or working remotely, you don’t need to be tied to your desk; any calls that you would normally receive on your desk phone will be delivered to your softphone. That means that you and your colleagues can make internal calls to each other, transfer calls, place calls on hold, etc, etc… everything you can do from your desk phone, but from anywhere in the world!
         &#xD;

          Yes. Recently a member of our team was away in the Greek islands and a particularly complex support call came in that required his input. The mobile signal was poor in the area where he was staying, but the hotel had WiFi. He used the Softphone installed on his mobile to logon to his extension on our
          &#xD;
    &lt;a href="/hosted-telephone-systems-bristol-cornwall"&gt;&#xD;
      
           Hosted PBX
          &#xD;
    &lt;/a&gt;&#xD;
    
          and then call the customer to talk them through the steps required to resolve their issue. The customer was unaware that they were being supported by an engineer that was abroad as the call appeared to emanate from our office.

          Problem solved within 15 minutes of the original support call coming in!!!

           We were recently approached by an existing telephone system customer to analyse their phone bills. At the time we did not look after their lines and calls for them as they were a long standing customer of Chess Telecom.
          &#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

           Upon analysis of their bill it became apparent that we could save them a phenomenal 45% on their current overheads!
